The creative practice of Christine Kistner

Drawn to color.
Made with
curiosity.

Hi, I'm Christine. I draw patterns, make things move, and build playful tools like Roll & Do.

Colorworks is my creative home: a place for colorful ideas, thoughtful design, and the occasional “what if?”

Craft leads. Curiosity follows.

A few things I've
been making.

An app to help you get started. Patterns to brighten the everyday. Drawings made just because. Come take a look around.

Roll & Do — Stop deciding. Start rolling. Blue dice, pastel hobby cards, and colorful task slips.

A personal idea, brought to life

A gentler way
to get started.

Roll & Do began with movable sticky tabs and a physical die. Now it's a task and hobby app for the days when choosing is the hardest part.

Pick the time you have. Roll among six options. Begin.

Drawing, repetition, possibility

Color, collected.
Patterns, in play.

Leaves, seashells, fish, and familiar shapes become something new when they find their rhythm.

For the joy of it

Follow a line.
See where it goes.

Custom coloring pages, little squares of ColorStrips, and faces with a mind of their own. Personal projects that leave room for a little play.

The marks behind the page

A little line goes a long way.

The waves, geometry, and floral details woven through this site come from my ColorStrips drawings. Small squares of art, finding new places to play.

The person behind the practice

Hi, I'm Christine.
There’s usually another idea.

I've spent twelve+ years designing for motion, video, and print. Here, that experience meets my love of drawing and trying something new—whether it's a little square of art or an app you can use.

AI is one of the tools in my studio. The eye, the choices, and the curiosity are mine.
